Communicated from the creative realm of Spirit, mandalas make a bridge to the hidden world of energy. All energy flows in waves, and waves are naturally circles. The infinite array of patterns inherent within the circle are all the possible artistic mandalas, each representing a unique perspective of the universal theme.
These mandalas reflect the journey of self discovery.
Each one I constructed over long periods of time using traditional techniques with the circle making compass and straight line straight edge.
The coloring I did with colored pencils mostly, and some ink later. The process really became a meditation, a safe place within to be free from temporary world affairs, in the realm of art and archetype.
I have learned a philosophy from the study and personal practice of sacred geometry, and know that these models can communicate a useful message to human consciousness.
